I am Jasmine McKenzie, Independent Travel Advisor and owner of Booked By Jazz, and I’m excited to assist you with your travel planning. The following Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) outline what you can expect from me and what I expect from you as my client. The terms “I,” “me,” and “my” refer to Booked By Jazz. The term “you” refers to the individual(s) who signs this Agreement.

1. My Role

I act as an independent travel advisor. I arrange travel services on your behalf through third-party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, cruise lines, and insurance providers. I do not own, operate, or control these suppliers. I may collect service fees directly, but all supplier payments are processed according to the supplier’s own billing systems and policies.

2. Payments & Authorization

By providing your payment information, you authorize me and the relevant supplier(s) to charge your card for the approved travel arrangements. When you provide a credit card for supplier payments, you authorize me to use that card solely for the travel components you have approved. Pricing and availability are subject to change until payment is processed and confirmed.

2A. Deposits & Refundability

All deposits paid to Booked By Jazz or directly to any supplier are non-refundable. Deposits secure your room, rate, and/or services and cannot be returned under any circumstances.

In some cases, a portion or full deposit may be transferable to a new booking. Transferability is not guaranteed and is offered solely at the discretion of Booked By Jazz as part of my internal cancellation and rebooking policy. Any supplier-issued credits (if applicable) will follow that supplier’s rules.

Booked By Jazz does not guarantee refunds, credits, or transfers for any deposit.

3. Supplier Terms

All travel services are subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the supplier(s) fulfilling your booking. This includes cancellation policies, change fees, refund rules, and travel requirements. Refundability of travel components is determined solely by the supplier’s policies, not by Booked By Jazz.

4. Service Fees

I may charge non-refundable service fees for research, planning, changes, cancellations, or other professional services. These fees are separate from supplier costs and are non-refundable once paid.

5. Travel Protection

I strongly recommend purchasing travel protection to safeguard your investment. Declining travel protection means you assume full financial responsibility for any loss, delay, medical expense, or cancellation.

6. Documentation Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that all travelers have valid passports, visas, identification, and any required travel documents. I am not responsible for denied boarding or travel disruptions due to incomplete or invalid documentation.

7. Accuracy of Information

You agree to review all itineraries, invoices, confirmations, and traveler information for accuracy. Any errors must be reported immediately. I am not responsible for costs resulting from incorrect information provided by the client.

8. Liability

I am not liable for acts, errors, omissions, delays, or failures of any supplier. I am not responsible for personal injury, property damage, delays, cancellations, natural disasters, pandemics, or any event beyond my control.

9. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate traveler information, make timely payments, review all confirmations, comply with supplier policies, and communicate any issues promptly.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By signing this Agreement or submitting payment information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

11. Payment Methods

Payments may be made directly to Booked By Jazz for service fees or directly to travel suppliers for travel components. When I submit your card to a supplier on your behalf, their terms and conditions govern the transaction.

12. Chargebacks

You agree not to dispute charges that correspond to services you approved, whether paid directly to Booked By Jazz or to a supplier.

13. Trip Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your trip, you may be subject to additional cancellation fees dependent upon the policies of the supplier(s), destination, or travel provider involved. These fees are separate from Booked By Jazz service fees and are governed by the supplier’s Terms & Conditions.

You acknowledge that cancelling after payments have been made may result in partial or full loss of funds, dependent upon the timing and the supplier’s policies.
